Earlier this year, Audiotistic absolutely rocked Northern California. This weekend, they plan to do the same as they return to Southern California for the first time in years. It will be nice to see the festival return to So Cal, as it was originally launched in Los Angeles. The one-day event will see everyone from Porter Robinson, to Quix take the stage.
The set times for Audiotistic have finally arrived, and after checking them out, we know you’ll love them. Whether you choose to open your day with Sober Rob or Steady Rock, you actually have the chance to see a bit of both. This is because the sets are staggered, allowing you to flip flop between stages as you please. This is a trend that actually continues throughout the night. If you can’t decide between Porter Robinson or AC Slater, you can actually check out both.
Audiotistic SoCal will take place this Saturday, December 29, at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. For more information be sure to visit their official website here. Tickets are on sale, and can be found here. Set times can be found below.

Mark your calendars, ravers. On January 17, 2019, to February 2, 2019, Montreal’s Igloofest will be making its triumphant return! If you haven’t made the trip to check out one of Canada’s most popular nightlife cities, January is the perfect time to start.
While most people around the world choose to hibernate throughout the cold winter months, Montrealers have chosen to embrace what can’t be changed. Trust us when we say that it’ll be worth the few hours outside in the chilly weather. If you don’t want to take our word for it, check out all of the amazing things that the event has to offer below (seriously, it’s incredible…).
Kicking off the 13th edition of the festival is France’s Polo & Pan with a DJ set. The Sapporo stage will be graced with the duo’s remarkable house music mixes on January 17. Attendees will also have the opportunity to witness a set from Norwegian DJ Skatebård.
Here’s where things really start to warm up. On January 18, Diplo will be headlining the fest, alongside Nina Las Vegas and Eagles & Butterflies. If a rare Canadian appearance by the legendary American producer doesn’t heat things up, we don’t know what will!
Who says Sundays are boring? Ending the first weekend’s series of festivities is English musician Four Tet. Sunday Funday is taken to the next level with additional performances by Jacques Greene and Volvox.
The second weekend promises to be one for the books with captivating performances by headlining acts Chris Lake (January 24) alongside AC Slater and YOOKiE, Above & Beyond (January 25), Spencer Brown and Waze & Odyssey, and finally, Chris Liebing. There will also be special sets by Mind Against and Skee Mask on January 26. Talk about quite the weekend celebration!
By the final weekend, we have no doubt you’ll be toasty! Bass lovers will unite on January 31 for the ultimate dream lineup – the incredibly talented RL Grime is headlining, along with Baauer and Iglooghost. You’ll be Harlem Shaking your body to stay warm! Jumping into February, attendees will witness performances from Gramatik, Kartell, and Danger, Le Matos on February 1, 2019.
Igloofest wouldn’t live up to their high standards if they didn’t finish their series of nine events with a bang. The impeccably skilled Maceo Plex will be making a stop on February 2 during his tour, with the dynamic Ostrich and Baba Stiltz playing the same day. Grab your dancing shoes, because this techno-infused event is guaranteed to have you dancing all night long.
Simply hearing about the undeniably impressive lineup has us off the wall! We are counting down the days until we get to experience the magic the organizers have concocted for us. Have you purchased your tickets yet? They’re flying…grab them below, before it’s too late!

They say that the number 13 is an unlucky one. But with an outstanding lineup, a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, a number of fun activities and more, there’s no doubt in our minds that this edition will be the biggest and best one yet.

Wouldn’t this be something special? In a recent Instagram post by Ferry Corsten, he’s seen with legendary DJ Carl Cox. But it’s not the picture that’s causing a stir- it’s the caption. Ferry captioned the photo by asking, “Who thinks Carl Cox and I should make a trance record together?” Any dance music fanatic can’t help but think of the immense possibilities that this marriage could bring.
One can assume that the picture was taken in Ibiza as Cox has a residency there and Ferry recently played a show there. In the past, we’ve seen DJs tease collabs with other legendary DJs just to create a ruse. However, this wouldn’t be the first time Ferry teamed up with someone outside the realm of trance. Back in 2013, Ferry joined forces with Bassjackers to make the song ‘Collision’. Although it was a one-time thing, Ferry clearly isn’t shy about breaking from the norm.
For now, only time will tell if this out-of-the-box collaboration happens. Taking a picture together and asking if a collaboration should happen is definitely a step in the right direction. But this should be taken with a grain of salt as well. Check out the Instagram post below.

LA has sparked some controversy with their new and exclusive influencer mural.
There’s a new mural in town. Melrose, the famous Los Angeles street with intricate graffiti art for Instagram posts galore, has birthed a wing display called “Like & Subscribe”. This isn’t your average art though. While the art on Melrose is usually open for anyone to snap a picture by, this exclusive wall only allows influencers with over 20k followers to enter. Oh, and you have to be verified. We’re serious. There’s actually a security dude outside the mural. This has sparked a lot of different opinions, mostly making people feel that this is a tasteless move.
Today, Dillon Francis lightened up the tension behind art piece, sharing a picture of him in front of the mural and tagging the creators. “Like & Subscribe” posted to Twitter about the issue, and is telling influencers to enjoy it.
What are your thoughts on this swanky idea?
