Claude VonStroke Releases New Single, "My Love Check"

The dancefloor vibe is taken off Carl Craig’s Detroit Love Vol. II.

Claude VonStroke just released his latest single, “My Love Check”. The track dropped just in time for Movement Festival in the producer’s hometown of Detroit, where he fulfilled the lifelong dream of headlining last year, and is featured in Detroit legend Carl Craig‘s Detroit Love Vol. II Compilation.

Released along with a black-and-white music video, all shot on location in Detroit, “My Love Check” showcases a minimal house approach that bridges the old with the new. Groovy drums create a dance floor-ready groove, while pads, synths continuously twist and trade places, resulting in a progressive vibe.

“My Love Check” from the new Carl Craig compilation is about my love for longtime hometown Detroit” revealed the Dirtybird label boss. “This video was shot by one of my best friends, Anthony Garth. We came up in the film business together in Detroit and Anthony shot my first music video in a laundromat. […] Anthony’s Black and White footage along with The Bens’ pixel sorting effect combine the classic with the contemporary, something Carl Craig has always been so good at achieving with his music for so many years.”

Claude VonStroke has been a household name in the electronic music scene for more than a decade. The house and techno producer formed his label Dirtybird Records in 2005, and a year after he released his debut album, Beware Of The Bird

Moore’s last EDC Las Vegas appearance was brief; he came out for a short time during Marshmello‘s time slot at the 2016 edition. He has continued to play other iterations of the festival. Most recently, he delivered an unreleased ID-heavy set at EDC Japan.

Neither Skrillex nor Insomniac have officially announced that he will be the surprise headliner at the time of writing.
