Porter Robinson will play two shows at Shrine Expo Hall next month.
Porter Robinson clearly isn’t the only one excited about the 2019 Grammy Awards nomination for his single as Virtual Self. Earlier in the week he announced plans to perform in L.A. on the evening before the ceremony. That event has since sold out, and the DJ/producer has revealed another.
Whereas the aforementioned event is slated for February 9th, Robinson’s newly announced show will take place two days prior on the 7th. Both will take place at Shrine Expo Hall.
Robinson’s “Ghost Voices” was nominated in the category of Best Dance Recording, going up against “Northern Soul” by Above & Beyond, “Ultimatum” by Disclosure, “Losing It” by FISHER, and “Electricity” by Silk City and Dua Lipa featuring Diplo and Mark Ronson. In a recent interview, Robinson said that he didn’t know the song was submitted for consideration until he caught wind of the nomination via Twitter.
Tickets to Porter Robinson’s first Virtual Self performance at Shrine Expo Hall on February 7th will go on sale tomorrow, January 11th at 10:00 AM PST. Purchase them here.
